Prior to her graduation from the art school, Mimi Keene had already begun her acting career performing in theatre. She made her debut as Janey in Kin at the Royal Court Theatre in December 2010. Three years later, the talented British actress recorded her debut on the television screen when she starred as herself in 2 episodes of School for Stars (2013), a documentary about the students at the Italia Conti Academy.
